The Lincoln National Park/Memory Cove Wilderness is a rugged peninsula of cliffs, sand dunes, sheltered bays and sandy beaches just 20 kilometres from Port Lincoln.
It provides everything from swimming beaches at Boston Bay to isolated coastal wilderness areas. Most of the area can be accessed in two-wheel drive vehicles including numerous shady camping areas near bays and beaches perfect for boating and fishing. A short hike up Stamford Hill, offers spectacular 360-degree views across the coast.
Accommodation is available at Donington Cottage, a lighthouse keeper's homestead (bookings required). Camp under trees and spend idyllic days looking out over the water. A key is needed to access the area, available from the Port Lincoln Visitor Information Centre.
Camping fees apply per vehicle, per night. Maximum of eight vehicle occupants. Fees apply for hikers and cyclists wishing to camp, check the website for details.
