Napier Gudide Walks - 'Welcome to Nature'

Favorite
This 6 hour tour offers a snapshot of how Aotearoa New Zealand looked, sounded and felt before the arrival of people. The trip begins in Napier and takes you through the countryside to a DoC reserve, where dedicated staff and volunteers have done extensive work to re-introduce native species and eradicate pests. There is the chance to get up close and personal with some of the many Kaka who reside there. These birds are cheeky and inquisitive by nature and show a strong interest in people. The forest is teeming with a myriad of species of trees, plants and birds. You can expect to see and hear the native birds as well as experience spectacular views.A light lunch is supplied in the warm Hawkes Bay surroundings before driving back to Napier.
