The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand works to ensure that through testimony and experience, the museum and research centre will inspire and empower individuals to stand against prejudice and apathy.
The displays focus on Holocaust and New Zealand. You will see:
*Jewish life before and after the Holocaust
*Timelines of events in Europe and the New Zealand response to these
*The experience of the Holocaust told through the stories of New Zealand Holocaust survivors
*Powerful video testimonies of a Holocaust survivors telling their stories
*Library of Holocaust literature & texts
*Exhibitions on survivors.
The museum is open 10.00 am to 1.00 pm Sunday to Friday. Closed Saturday.
Our guides will tailor a programme to suit you or your group.
