My name is Sarah and I love children and teaching. My dream is to become an educator and help students across Australia and possibly overseas to reach their full academic potential. I can offer tutoring to primary school students in the areas of reading, writing, maths, science, HSIE, or any other topics they may need assistance with. I can also help with proof-reading of essays for high-school students. For anyone learning English as a second language (ESL) i can provide support, correction and conversation practice. I can teach the subjects I completed in my HSC which include: General Math, Japanese continuers, Business Studies, Ancient History and Advanced English. I prefer one on one tutoring as I feel it is much more effective and specialised to the client's needs, however I can provide 2 on 1 if requested, particularly if the students are on the same ability level. I can also tutor university level in subjects I have completed previously including LING1100, EDUC1045, HIST1051 and SOCA1040. Linguistics is a particularly hard course that i achieved quite well in. The rate for university level assistance is double that of high school - $60. I do not have a car so it would be best if I could meet at a destination on the train line, preferably the university library. I can do home visits if they are accessible by public transport.
