I am currently completing my Master if Teaching (secondary) degree at Newcastle University. I have a strong passion for teaching and cannot wait to get in to some schools. I got into teaching because I had inspirational teachers that made a difference to my life and I want to offer the same opportunity to our younger generations. I enjoy teaching because I love seeing children enjoy learning and by knowing they understand what I am trying to teach them drives my passion to make a difference to their lives. The subject areas I am able to teach are History, Geography and English, years 7-10. I am also qualified to teach senior Anicent History as this is my specialty. My lesson structure involves setting a goal for the students to achieve by then end of the lesson which corresponds with syllabus outcomes. I also like to set myself a goal and tell students what my goal is, which seems to be highly effective. I use different methods to get information across in the forms of note taking, visual images, activity sheets and discussion. I am fairly flexible and will work around your personal needs.
