I was born in Belgium and French is my mother tongue. After I graduated from a bachelor in translation and a master’s degree in journalism a few months ago, I decided to move to Sydney with a Working Holiday Visa. As you may note in the attached resume, I gave French, English, Dutch and methodology private lessons during the whole process of my studies. I was following language-teaching methodologies during my bachelor, so I decided to work for prestigious private schools in Brussels. I really enjoyed sharing my passion for languages with younger students, but also students who were older than me. I am now a young translator and writer specialized in online media and lifestyle journalism. Currently I work freelance for ELLE.be, the Belgian ELLE’s website. As trainee journalist for ELLE Belgique, I have published articles in French on fashion and lifestyle in Belgium and I covered various fashion and artistic events. I also published several French translations for marketing businesses and writers. I am now looking for new professional challenges in Sydney.
