I have been an Associate Lecturer in Physical Chemistry and a Senior high school teacher of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. I have also served on the Wide Bay District Review Panel for Chemistry. I have full teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (Registration No. 550096). I am very experienced and have an excellent grasp of subject matter, being able to explain concepts clearly and, if necessary, in more than one way. I am married and have four daughters, all of whom I helped in their school years. Two of them obtained an OP1 and the other two obtained an OP3 and an OP4. I have a first class Honours degree in Theoretical Chemistry from Sydney University and a Masters degree in Chemistry by research from James Cook University. I am a full member of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (MRACI) (Member No. 13908) and a Chartered Chemist (CChem). I have also published numerous research papers in the field of Physical/Inorganic Chemistry. I am a professional Chemist.
