Hello student :) I shall begin with an introduction about myself. My name is Tim Salinger and I am 20 years of age. I am studying a double degree in Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Teaching at the University of Adelaide. This year I am finishing off my Double major in Chemistry. I have also delved into pure and applied mathematics. Just a heed of warning, mathematics is not my strongest forte but I do enjoy a good challenge. I have a true passion for teaching. Sometimes I can't sleep at night because I'm simply thinking of ways to teach students approaches to problems/ ways to think of concepts in a different light. An attribute I'm particularly proud of is to quickly evolve a concept into an analogy that may be easier to understand. Most of the time it is quirky and out there, but this is one of the reasons why I find teaching so fun and challenging. As I'm a full time university student- My availability is not set in concrete as of yet. But weekends is the safest bet. To counter this do not be afraid to contact me by e-mail, text message, or a phone call. In the future I will be looking into more alternate ways of contact. Since I am starting out, I don't have much of a structure to my lesson guide. In my preference I like the structure of my lessons to be free. If you would like to go through some questions and ways to approach it? You would like to participate in a conversation about a particular concept? Anything is fine by me :) In the past I have done delivery service, so I don't mind driving to a local residence. It is you that needs to learn, so what ever you need I'll do my best to provide. If you have been reading this, you may have been probably thinking what I'm advertising more than other tutors. Well If you choose to me for tutoring, your first hour/session will be free of charge.
