I am currently undertaking a PhD candidature in Biochemistry, at the University of Adelaide. I am also studying Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience) as of Semester 1, 2014. Besides research, I also participate in teaching undergraduate students (second and third year) enrolled in the School of Molecular and Biomedical Science. I have always been an avid fan of science since I was little and I would like to be able to assist students of all levels in their science subjects, including Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I wish to share the excitement and curiosity, as well as the opportunity to think logically and critically, offered by scientific questions posed by everyday life. While the main goal is to enhance students' performance at school, I would like to prepare Year 11 and 12 students for university-level education. I will discuss quizzes and worksheets with students while encouraging them to think and solve the problems themselves to the best of their ability. Assistance in preparing for quizzes and exams will be offered as well. I will welcome high-performing students who wish to learn more than what their curriculum currently offers by introducing university subjects, primarily in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, to familiarise them with real scientific research.
