Hello, My name is Jean-Guillaume I just arrived in Melbourne from France. I have just finished a law masters in France and I am currently enrolled in a International Law and Development Masters at Melbourne university. I have been teaching and tutoring since I was 17 in various countries (France, Ghana and Uganda). I taught Mathematics, French, English, History and social studies to children from 7 to 12. I have tutored in France mostly professionals and a few students from foreign countries who could already speak very well but wanted to be completely fluent. I have even had an online student who could not speak a word of French and after less than a year she moved to Cameroon and was completely fluent. So I can help people of any age trying to achieve their goal whether it is succeeding at an exam, being able to communicate in French or learning more about the culture or who knows what else. My teaching philosophy is based on a lot of speaking and listening by getting rid of people's inhibition. My goal is to make my students feel comfortable with the language so that they do not fear to make mistakes. Of course I adapt to every person's need because some may find it difficult to get out of their comfort zone or others may only want to succeed at a writing test. So I take everything step by step to reach the ultimate goal when learning a language: being able to communicate!
