As a tutor, my teaching goals aim to provide a supportive and challenging learning environment in which students are encouraged to be proactive in responding to current scholarship and real-world situations, and are guided towards developing their own positions and conclusions on issues encountered. This includes theoretical expertise as well as practical problem-solving strategies. My greatest satisfaction comes from watching and guiding students as they grow in scholarship and academic confidence. I am available on-line for single or group tutorial sessions during normal business hours (8:00 - 17:00 hrs) in Western Australia. Lessons are built, firstly, around students' prior engagement with teaching materials: text books, additional required and/or suggested further reading, on-line teaching resources as well as engagement with real-world scenarios and questions for resolution. These are worked through during tutorials, during which small group participation is a valuable learning strategy.
