Experienced tutor available for tutoring in English and history subjects. I love teaching and helping my students achieve their goals! I am currently completing my PhD in Old English literature at Sydney Uni and have experience as a tutor in the English department. I scored band 6 results in both Advanced and Extension 1 English in my HSC in 2003 at Sydney Girls High School. I also received band 6 results in ancient history, modern history and history extension. EDUCATION Feb 2011-Present Sydney University PhD (Medieval Studies) Research topic: ‘Shame in Anglo-Saxon England’. Supervised by Associate Professor Daniel Anlezark, Department of English. 2004-2009 Sydney University Bachelor of Arts, Honours Class 1 Gained first class honours in Medieval Studies, with an additional major in Anthropology. Awarded Walter Reid Memorial Prize for academic achievement in 2008. 1998-2003 Sydney Girls' High School Graduated in the top 2% of NSW students with band 6 results in English Advanced, English Extension 1, Ancient History, Modern History and History Extension.
