I am a registered architect currently working in private practice in Sydney, Australia. I have graduated with a BA Hons Architecture and Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from Leeds Univeristy, England. In between degrees I completed 1 year of Professional studies involving full time work experience with monthly university classes covering all aspects of working within practice, e.g law, practice management, fee structure and contractual agreements. Following my post graduate degree I moved to Sydney and have been working at a private practice for 3 years. I tutor undergraduate and post graduate studies, covering all aspects of the architecture degree - site investigations, feasibility ideas, conceptual design, model making, form making, light studies, developing narrative, visual and verbal presentation, essay writing, dissertation & thesis writing, sketching, critiques & research skills. I can also tutor software such as AutoCad 2D, Vectorworks 2D, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, SketchUp and basic Vray rendering. To successfully tutor your learning, I would ask for the course outline and project description/brief to ensure the basic criteria is met.I would then endeavour to teach the skills relevant to a career in Architecture and guide your learning towards your interests. I can not write or design your work for you. I am available to tutor through skype or in person. I am happy to travel, and tutoring at my house is possible if prefered.
