I have a combined BA/ BEd (Honours Class I) in Secondary School English Teaching. In my experience as a high school teacher, I understand the difficulties of students obtaining individualised instruction tailored to their particular needs. I make this a foundation of my individual tutoring sessions. All tutoring sessions are structured around students' needs regarding assessment tasks and examination preparation for the study of English Years 7-12. Improvement of results is an attainable goal for students, with minor amendments to their own work. Enrichment and extension activities are available to students if that is one if their learning goals. Tutoring sessions will also be based on expert knowledge of the NSW curriculum and syllabus requirements. Notes and handouts are individualised and use a variety of English teaching professional association materials.
