Hi, my name’s Jonathan. I’m an Oxford University graduate with a BA Honours degree in Classics and a Master of Studies (M.St.) in General Linguistics and Comparative Philology. As my specialisation in linguistics suggests, I am passionate about the languages of Latin and Greek and believe their study instils a discipline and analytical rigour which few other subjects can match and which stay with you for the rest of your life. I was taught these languages the old-fashioned way from the age of eight and believe there is still room for these methods even in modern-day teaching without compromising on the enjoyment aspect.
