I am an UNSW student in year two of my bachelor degree for actuarial studies. As an experienced tutor in both China and Australia, I have been tutoring for 3 years and I have enjoyed working with different students. My GPA stays around 85 since first year and in particular, for microeconomics, final result was 92 and for math(algebra and calculus), final result was 85. I believe that patience, understanding and an easy going nature are the key to student-tutor relationship and I understand that issues with academic success can come from many different sources. I am able to help students identify their weaknesses and find ways to overcome it I structure my sessions to suit the needs of each student as an individual, with the first session always being a relaxed and informal introduction.
