I'm a university student looking to tutor high school students in Chemistry and Maths of all levels. I received an ATAR in the high 90's and have a distinction average at university studying engineering. I received band 6 results in both Maths and Chemistry for the HSC. I also have detailed HSC notes available for chemistry which follow the syllabus, and I'm available on Monday and Friday afternoons, as well as Saturday and Sunday. I'm happy to do both individual and small group tutoring. My method of tutoring involves firstly teaching or revising the subject matter, then simple questions related to that particular topic, and finally harder questions or past HSC exam questions. However my tutoring is tailored for individual students, and therefore I adjust my strategies, methods and pace of tutoring depending on the needs of the student. Every student is different and so needs personalised tutoring. As a recent HSC student, I understand the difficulties associated with the final years of high school, and also can offer both tips and hints for learning the subject content and also for approaching individual questions in assessments. I am available to tutor all levels of high school maths and chemistry, not only the preliminary and HSC levels. I am offering tutoring in the Bondi Junction area, and prefer to meet in an agreed meeting place, although I am willing to do close home visits.
