Hi! My name is Davy, a UNSW student, and am doing my second year of Computer Science. I did my HSC in 2012 with band sixes in extension 2 maths, extension 1 maths, and Biology, and believe I can aid other students with academic subjects. I really enjoy being able to help other students with their work and helping them understand concepts in various subjects, and my experience will allow me to give valuable tips and advice as well. I can tutor for all levels of Maths and Science, those being my strongest subjects, from K-12, but I mainly focus on secondary education (7-12). I have a large collection of practice questions and worksheets that I used for my own study, as well as typed and handwritten notes for all the subjects that I tutor. I find that approaching a great variety of problems is a great way to feel confident when taking written tests. I plan to teach in 1-hour blocks, as it is short enough to mostly keep attention and long enough for information to be retained. I am also available at all times for contact on my phone and on msn/other IM clients, so throw me a problem you have anytime you want, even if you're not planning to take tuition.
