I'm a qualified English and Drama teacher with classroom teaching and private tutoring experience. I'm available for private English tutoring for your primary or secondary school student. My passion first and foremost lies in creating a one-on one connection with a student and tailoring my resources and instruction to their individual needs. I enjoy creating a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and using English in an interesting, practical and innovative manner. During my time teaching I developed an extensive array of resources for high school students, so I am well aware of the NSW English syllabus and the particular requirements students face today. I am a voracious reader and completed my English Honours thesis on Australian Young Adult Fiction - I'd love to help your child with their school-assigned books and find new ones to inspire and challenge them.
