Hi, there! My name is Kelsey Oke and I am a qualified and registered graduated English teacher at an intermediate/senior level. I hold my Canadian certification (Ontario College of Teachers) as well as my UK Qualified Teacher Status. I have 1 year of full-time teaching experience. I was the full-time head teacher for classes years 6 through 11. I have an additional 5 years of tutoring experience and classroom placements working closely 1-on-1 and in small groups to improve reading and writing skills, assisting with textual analysis and comprehension, editing, essay and response writing, as well as with English as Additional Language students. With Dramatic Arts as my second teachable, I am very skilled in helping students with communications, oral speaking, confidence-building activities, social skills, creative writing and performing. I am currently living in Wollongong and am willing to travel to or host students for sessions. I am passionate about spending my time in the field of education working closely to help educate and tutor students of all ages and abilities.
