My name is Arnab Das and im currently a first year student at the University of Queensland, undertaking my studies in the Bachelor of Engineering program. Outside of my uni hours, i would like to spend my freetime, helping primary and high school students with their education, as i understand the importance of guiding young students is extremely high. I am available on the following days and times and am willing to travel in order to provide my service: Monday(12pm onwards), Wednesday(4pm onwards), Thursday(4pm onwards), Saturday(all day/negotiable). Throughout my schooling life, i have managed to identify my strengths and weaknesses, accordingly enhancing my strong areas of expertise. My passion for maths and physics has driven me to the profession of engineering and i would like to utilise this passion amongst young students, to increase their interest towards fundamental subjects like mentioned above. A detailed list of subjects and level of training, i am able to offer assistance with are stated as follows: Years 1-7(all subjects), Years 8-10(English, Physical Education, Maths, Science, History), Years 11- 12 (Maths B, Maths C, English, Physics, Aerospace, Health and Physical Education(topped my year level)). I have discovered my interest towards teaching during my senior years in high school. This interest has gradually developed through assisting my classmates, friends and relatives with their respective level of studies. Practice is the key to perfection and is the sole idea behind my tutorial approach. I would like to structure my lessons with reviewing class notes to start with and then apply the knowledge to solve practical problems and real life scenarios.
