As a school student I always enjoyed tutoring my fellow students, as I found satisfaction in showing individuals how to work through problems and to satisfy their needs. I am currently in my second year of university, studying a dual degree in Engineering and Commerce and have a fairly flexible timetable. Before I meet with the student, I usually prepare a worksheet or note step for us to go through, provided there are not already prior questions or topics the student would like me to go through. I firmly believe that the only way to learn is to do problems or questions by yourself, and be helped through the difficult portions, making it easier for me to see where help is needed, consequently addressing this.
