I'm a 2nd year Journalism student specialising in International Relations and Crime and Justice. I'm happy to tutor both primary and secondary students in English, creative writing, reading and history and would also be happy to assist with any tutoring needs in secondary drama, journalism, communication and media subjects. I currently tutor a grade 5 student in English, and have done so for a little over a year now. I create worksheets for him based on his weekly spelling words and his needs. If hired I would sit with both parents/guardians and the child and form a lesson plan base specifically around his or her needs. In the first few months, at least until some improvement in the child's school work has improved, I will most likely set homework (not a lot, just enough for me to gauge where they're at) I am currently available Monday, Thursday and Friday afternoons/nights and weekends.
