I have a PhD in Anthropology, and I am a qualified English teacher holding a current Positive Notice blue card for working with children. I have been tutoring for 6 years, specialising in academic writing skills and assignment preparation. University can be overwhelming and I am particularly interested in helping mature age students develop the skills required to make a successful transition to university. I entered university as a mature age student and I understand the needs of students who have not studied for some time. As an anthropologist I am also aware of the diverse needs of international students. In addition, I am keen to assist students studying Senior English to achieve their desired OP score.
