It's like a light bulb goes off when you can finally understand something that once seemed so complex. I used to struggle with school until I learned that I was a Kinesthetic learner. Everyone learns differently and conquering a subject starts off with learning how you learn best. There are multiple ways to teach people (e.g. visual aids, physical activities, listening aids), and once you know what works for you learning a difficult subject becomes much easier.
