I am currently in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science at La Trobe University, majoring in Zoology and Japanese. I am on the Dean's Honour List at La Trobe for academic merit, and am a member of the Golden Key Society (invitation only to the top 15% of students). At the conclusion of my VCE, I was included in the top ten highest ranking ATAR scores at my school and also received the highest score for Biology. As part of my degree I have studied both Biology (specializing in zoology, genetics, evolution, cells, plant science, ecology, physiology and conservation) and Japanese (including specialised translation classes and conversation classes) at a tertiary level. I enjoy working with students to help guide them to accomplish their best and build their confidence, and would do so either regularly; systematically working through the whole course or on one off instances to clarify and reinforce specific difficult concepts.
