Hey my name is Sarah, I'm 26 and studying to be an Accountant. I'm great with students, I'm very friendly, patient and always find a way for the topic to be understood by the student and encourage a positive attitude towards learning. I engage students to learn in an enjoyable way. Subjects include but are not limited to; Mathematics, English, Psychology, Physics and Indonesian second language all PREP to VCE. Services include but are not limited to; in home tutorial sessions, preparing weekly set tasks in juxtaposition with the student’s learning criteria, reporting back to the student’s parents on their progress, finding new ways to help the student understand the curriculum and providing preparation for examinations, quizzes, reports and graded assessments. Currently, I am tutoring two 6 year old boys with their reading and writing skills; they have made a marked improvement in their literacy skills so far. Previously, I tutored 2 VCE (year 11) students in Mathematical Methods and Physics with the results as shown below... Student 1: Boosted her graded score from 28% (achieved on an algebraic principles and techniques test) to an extremely satisfying 88%. This was achieved after just two hours of her FIRST tutorial. Student 2: Obtained the 4th highest score in VCE Mathematics Methods and the TOP score in VCE Physics at Craigieburn Secondary College, for year 2005.
