Received an ATAR of 99.35 in 2013: - 46 in ENGLISH, - 48 in MATHS METHODS and SPECIALIST MATHS - 46 in FRENCH - 41 in CHEMISTRY - 39 in LEGAL STUDIES I have enjoyed teaching ever since I was introduced to the idea of being a mentor for younger children. The main reason I enjoy teaching is because I firmly believe that educating another person is the greatest gift that someone can give. My friends and family would describe me as a passionate and determined person. I hope to pass on these qualities to my students as well as give them the best education possible. I have an organised approach to lessons. An hour long session would normally involve going through any problems and queries that the students have had in the past week, and showing effective techniques and skills to become more confident with solving them. The latter part of the lesson would involve teaching them new material. Pre-written notes will be given to the student along with examples and questions so as to practice on the main concepts covered. I offer Maths and English tutoring for students from Grade 6 to Grade 10, as well as Science tutoring for students in Year 9 and 10. I am available every weekday from 2 pm until 8 pm. On the weekends, I can tutor from 12 until 4 pm in the afternoon.
