Hi, My name is James and I am a Medical Student currently studying the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at The University of Melbourne. I completed the Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne in 2013 and have been tutoring VCE students since 2010. I am offering tutoring in BIOLOGY ENGLISH CHEMISTRY MATH (up to year 11) GAMSAT (ESSAY SECTION) and am available MON-WED nights. My lessons are usually structured as follows: - A quick run through of what was covered that week in class -Identification of things the student didn't understand that week/where they think they need to improve -The bulk of the lesson is going over topics the student wants clarification on or, if topic is well understood, I will test them and give them practice exam/SAC questions and go through model answers with them. - I always aim to change the student's attitude towards studying and give them confidence in their ability. -I will help the student set up a study plan for the next week and give them learning goals to achieve before the next session. Im a friendly and approachable person and aim to make my tutes as interactive and open as possible. I aim to make the student as comfortable as possible and give them confidence in their ability and the tools they need to succeed in year 12.
