Hi all. My name is Ryan. I'm not yet qualified but I'm an excellent teacher with a thorough classical education and training in history, philosophy, and French. I am currently studying a diploma of Education online at The University of New England, and have only four units to complete over the next year before receiving my award. I have two teaching areas - one in English Methods and the second in TESOL. I've completed two block's of practicum experience; the first at Saint Mary’s Secondary College in Gunnedah, NSW, and the second at Fitzroy High School in May this year. I also regularly volunteer at Collingwood English Language School, where I provide English literacy instruction to students across the range of primary and secondary age groups. Many of these studens have no experience with the English language at all and require a bottom up approach to say the least. This role has given me invauable insight into the range of teaching stategies required in order to meet the individual needs of students of various ages and ability levels, especially those from Non-English speaking bacgrounds. I have also studied the IELTS Practice Exam Book and have a sound understanding about what is required to teach for the IELTS. Please give me a call, or send me a text or an email.
