I am a highly qualified teacher who has always enjoyed the challenges of private tutoring where I can tune into each individual student's needs and methods of learning while guiding them to become independent in the learning process. With my special education background I am able to break down the learning process into simple steps, tuning into the steps each student may have missed in English and Maths. I see myself as more than a tutor but as a learning coach. I also have experience as a Homeopathic practioner, principles of treating the whole person, in this case the whole learning process: teaching children to learn, how to organise themselves in their homework etc, developing their self confidence and regaining their engagement and fun learning. I tutor at home where I have a wide variety of educational resources for all levels, providing a relaxed and homely environment with my clever, cute Omm (my adorable cat). I am widely experienced; up-to-date with what's happening in the classroom of all levels since I like to work in closely with classroom teachers and have regular contact and feedback with student's teachers. I find it is a privilege to work so closely with students and always find new stimulating challenges as I tune into each individual student's needs and learning methods.
