Hi I am a current high school teacher in Shepparton whilst also currently completing my Masters in Teaching. I teach VCE Biology and year 7-10 science/maths. I have a passion for science and science education. I have also completed an honours degree in microbiology and immunology at the University of Melbourne. My lessons are friendly, relaxed and student focused. I prefer to concentrate on aspects of the course that individual students need more clarification with and to do this in a style that best suits that student. For this reason, each session is different. I am happy to discuss student and parental expectations of tutoring sessions. I am a very approachable person and students are always encouraged to ask questions throughout the sessions. I am available to students outside of sessions via email/text/phone if required (especially around exam time.) As a current university student who is originally from Melbourne, I am more than happy to talk to senior students about my experiences in University, living in Melbourne and finishing school. I specialise in tutoring VCE Biology units 1-4. I am also available to tutor science and maths subjects to junior students. Sessions are conducted at the students’ home if located within Shepparton or Kialla lakes. If students live out of town, then sessions can be arranged at a public place (such as the library.) Private or group sessions are available on negotiation.
