Recovery Scenarios
Sometime while executing the code we may get some unexpected errors.
Recovery Scenarios are used to recover the test and continue executing the next line of the code from the unexpected error.
Follow below steps to create Recovery Scenario:
Step 1: Click Resources then select Recovery Scenario Manager.
Step 2: After Clicking "New" Recovery Scenario, the Recovery Scenario Wizard popup.
Step 3: Now we need to choose the Trigger Event. It corresponds to event which arises.
Trigger events are:
- Pop-Up Window
- Object State
- Test Run Error
- Application Crash
Step 4: Recovery Operation has the following Operations.
Step 5: Here we need to specify the Post Recovery Operation.
Step 6: Enter scenario name and added to the Test so that it will be activated.
Step 7: Check "Add Scenario to the current Test" check box, then click "Finish".
Step 8: The Recovery Scenario added will be as shown, now click “Close" Button to continue
Step 9: Save Recovery Scenario opens. It will be saved with the extension .qrs and the wizard would be closed.
Verification:
The Recovery Scenario created should be part of the test and can be verified:
Go to "File" select "Settings" select "Recovery" Tab
