Definition of Nominal Number
A nominal number is a number that is only used as a name. It has no actual value, and doesn't indicate a position. It is only used to identify something.
Some examples of nominal numbers are:
- The number \(453\) on this car.
- The number on a T20 cricketer's shirt.
- A model number such as 777
Description
