I am a recent graduate of the University of New South Wales. In 2013 I completed my combined Advanced Science/Arts degree, with a high distinction average in the Arts component specialising in Development Studies and with a first class honours in the Advanced Science component specialising in Ecology. I have also completed a Diploma in science and business innovation management, also at UNSW with a high distinction average. I have over 5 years tutoring experience including both private tuition as well as working with tutoring companies, primarily Tallpoppy Tutors and UNSW’s Centre for Indigenous programs, Nura Gili. I have experience working with students from kindergarten to HSC level, including children with learning disabilities. I am confident in tailoring individual lesson plans after discovering the particular needs of the child. But first and foremost, I primarily aim to ensure that the child is keeping up-to-date with the school syllabus and homework, filling any knowledge gaps as per the requirement of the NSW curriculum. I can also provide more specialised tutoring, e.g. essay writing skills or exam preparation. My availability is flexible, including weekends and I am also happy to provide help via phone or online.
