I graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 2013. I am available to help high school students in English (Advanced, 3U, 4U), Maths (3U, 4U), Latin (2U, 3U) and Classical Greek (2U, 3U) up to the highest HSC levels. I aim to provide specific guidance according to my students needs, whether this means assisting in catch-up work or in learning ahead, I am always open to suggestions. In the first lesson I want to hear what your thoughts are, how you want this to work, where you want to end up. Then, together we will work out a structured plan for improvement, and keep track of our goals, reviewing progress and providing suggestions along the way. I believe that results can only be safely maximized by focusing on understanding concepts and developing transferrable skills. I encourage independent and creative thinking, seeking a two-way discourse and fostering discussion. Therefore I provide detailed help with set texts and concepts to ensure that the student has the confidence, adaptability and breadth of knowledge required to take a step back in an exam and just answer the question no matter how out of left field it may seem. I believe that one of my strengths is explaining challenging ideas in an easy to understand way. I have the resources and ability to provide (and answer!) questions over a wide range of difficulty levels. I am available in the lower North Shore area - Lane Cove, Riverview, Longueville.
