I have graduated from Georges River College - Oatley Senior Campus as a School Captain with an ATAR of 96.45 and I am currently studying Physiotherapy at the University of Western Sydney. I have tutored (and am currently tutoring) primary and high school students, from both selective and non-selective school environments. I prepare most of the educational resources that I provide to my students, using a variety of textbooks and other additional materials that I might find useful. My tutoring style is a strict but relaxed one, and I encourage question-driven lessons plus frequent mini assessments to help pinpoint weaknesses and in better understanding the school syllabus. Unlike most coaching centres, I provide individually tailored learning methods for each student. By "fitting the shoe to the foot, and not the foot to the shoe", I believe students would maximise their learning capabilities and would make the most from every lesson. Like most tutors and teachers, I expect my students to complete their given work and to engage in additional study in their own time. I personally encourage feedbacks from both students and parents as well as I see them as opportunities to learn and improve on what I do. In addition to private tutoring, I have previously coached and mentored students in various school levels at the Kumon Institute of Education located in Hurstville, NSW. On a more personal note, I see myself as an understanding and patient individual who would be more than willing to go out of his way to assist his students in their studies. I understand what it is like to be a student and I know it can be frustrating while struggling through learning curves. Having had the experience myself, I would like to help students-in-need with their struggles, and be a part of their educational journey towards success and achievements.
