For as long as I can remember, I have loved helping kids. I currently work in outside school hours care at Fig Tree Pocket State School, but I would also love some thorough experience in teaching kids. I love to create worksheets focused on particular topics to help children get concepts through their heads. I am patient and enjoy watching kids wrap their heads around certain topics in school. I have experience with special needs children through my outside school hours care job as we have children from Glenleighden school in Brisbane. I am available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, however I have to go to my other job by 2:45 until 4:45. I would be free again after that. On Fridays I am free all day. I offer tutoring for all subjects in primary school (Maths, English, Science, LOTE etc) and English and Spanish in junior high. My lessons would be structured quite basically. Depending on the amount of trouble a student is having with a topic, we would work through a number of worksheets as well as some fun games to really understand the topics. I offer the first lesson free, to see if I am the one for your child. I understand that everyone learns in different ways so I happily give the first lesson free to see if I am a good fit for your child's learning needs.
