Hi, my name's Johanna and I'm a fourth-year Arts student at the University of Queensland. My majors are archaeology and ancient history, and I've done several English Literature courses as electives. I've also completed a Diploma of Languages in Latin. I've been tutoring on a volunteer basis through the university for two years and privately for high school students for the past year. In the past I've mainly worked with Latin, Ancient History and English students. Subjects I'm able to tutor include English, Ancient History, Latin, German, Maths and Music theory. I'm also a native German speaker and can work with German students of all levels. I very much enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge with my students, and am aiming towards a career in tertiary education after I finish my studies. As a tutor, I'm patient, friendly and open, and believe that I can learn from my students as much as they can learn from me. I'm happy to travel to my students' homes and have my own transport, but I can also work with students at public libraries or even on campus at UQ. I have a current blue card and am happy to provide a copy of my academic transcript or contact details for previous students on request.
