I am currently studying 3rd year Speech Pathology at JCU. I am able to tutor primary and secondary school children in English, Reading and Essay writing subjects. I have previous experience babysitting and enjoy working with children. I have also had the opportunity in a clinical setting to work with younger children including those with special needs. I understand that some students learn better in a comfortable and familiar environment and if this is preferred I am willing to travel to a home for tutoring sessions. I am also aware that students each have different learning styles and am able to alter my session and teaching approach to suit an individual. A student will benefit from bringing any questions about a subject, homework and assignments to these tutoring sessions. Hourly rate can be negotiated.
