Beyond strengthening your knowledge in a given subject, each session is conducted with a core focus on making you a confident, efficient and applied learner. I am a year 12 graduate and currently completing at double-degree in English (literature) and creative writing at the University of Adelaide. If you a year 12 English studies/communications student, or a tertiary student trying to bump up your grade in the discipline, I am your best asset. I am most capable of teaching primary- and high- school students (as it's with this age range that I've previously worked), but could also assist those studying English as a second language, especially if you are seeking aid with grammar and/or conversational practice. I am approachable, friendly and, due to my age (twenty-one), younger students often develop a natural rapport with me. My hours are flexible and I'm prepared to work up to three-hour sessions, though usually find anything longer than two wipes students out mentally. We can meet for sessions at your house or a suitable public space, such as a library. UPDATE: As of semester 1, 2014, I am unable to take on any more students for face-to-face sessions (I am currently overloaded with pupils). HOWEVER, I may be available for proofreading, basic editing and general feedback via e-mail correspondence or even online instant messaging, depending the area of study and the degree of support you require.
