Interpret displacement, velocity, and acceleration in kinematics Free

Paper 1, Paper 2 5 marks Difficulty 4 Mixed calculator policy

Determine final velocity from acceleration data

A robot cart experiment records an object moving initially at \(8\,\text{m s}^{-1}\). It accelerates uniformly at \(3\,\text{m s}^{-2}\) for \(5\,\text{s}\). Calculate the final velocity. State the method before entering the value. Enter the numerical result and choose the interpretation that matches the physics meaning.

Worked practice: physics data and result

Read the physical quantities first, then calculate the result and state what it means.
