About This Experiment
Radioactive decay follows an exponential pattern described by N(t) = N₀e^(-λt), where λ is the decay constant. Half-life is the time required for half of a radioactive sample to decay. Different isotopes have vastly different half-lives, from seconds to billions of years. This simulation demonstrates the statistical nature of decay and the predictable exponential decay curve.
