Definition of Mutually Exclusive Events
Two events are mutually exclusive if they can't both happen at the same time.
For example, a lolly can't be both a jelly bean and a chocolate beanie, so the events of choosing a jelly bean and choosing a chocolate beanie are mutually exclusive.
However, the events of choosing a jelly bean and choosing a red lolly are not mutually exclusive, because you can have a red jellybean.
