Definition of Quantity
The quantity is the amount there is of something.
For example, if someone asked you for the quantity of jelly-beans in this jar, you might say "about half a jar full", or you might count them and say "there are \(223\)".
The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
