Hokitika Glass Studio: The family business established in 1974 by Barry, Judy & sons Gene & Anthony Wilson. This is the largest glassblowing studio in NZ and offer a wonderful opportunity to watch the glassblowers while you peruse the studio of some of the the finest glassware. Gene Wilson concentrates on the large handblown items and Anthony creates a superb range of glass animals ie. Yellow Eyed penguins, Angelfish, Whales, Dolphins etc. The studio is open 7 days a week and is an absolute 'must see' whilst visiting the beautiful West Coast.
