Definition of Handspan
Your handspan is the length from the tip of your thumb to the tip of your little finger when your hand is stretched out.
Handspans are used as a rough unit of measurement. Of course, people with larger hands have larger handspans than people with smaller hands. The person whose hand is in the picture has very large hands. His handspan would be much longer than yours or mine.
Description
