Definition of Horizontal
Something is horizontal if it goes from side to side, rather than up and down.
Horizontal lines go from left to right, and are parallel to the horizon.
Vertical lines go up and down, and are at right angles to the horizon.
Description
The aim of this dictionary is to provide definitions to common mathematical terms.
