Definition of Binary | SubjectCoach

The binary number system uses only two digits: \(0\) and \(1\). For this reason, it is sometimes called the Base-2 number system

For example,

  • \(10\) in Binary equals \(2\) as a decimal number.
  • \(1010\) in Binary equals \(10\) as a decimal number.
  • \(1111\) in Binary equals \(15\) as a decimal number.
