Math Definitions - Letter G

Googol

Definition of Googol

A googol is a very large number, written as a \(1\) followed by \(100\) zeroes:

\(10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,\)
\(000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,\)
\(000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000\)

It's much quicker to write this in Scientific Notation as \(1 \times 10^{100}\)!
